ONE TREE HILL LOAN.
Sir, —I wish to draw the attention of the ratepayers of One Tree Hill south of Campbell Road to the road loan proposals of our board to be decided at the poll next Wednesday, 18th inst. If this loan of £BB,OOO is carried it means that the aroa south of Campbell Road which the board has offered to Onehuuga, and which Or.ehunga has practically agreed to take over, will have to bear the special rate of 5-Bth3 of a penny for 36£ years, even if joined to Onehunga. The board must know this, md yet it proposes to do nothing to any of the roads in cur area. I consider it a most iniquitous proposal. " F. J. Mttnbo.
