FALL FROM A MOTOR.

MR. B. B. COUSTON'S DEATH. [by telegraph.—press association-.] CHIUSTCHURCH. Friday. An inquest was held regarding the death of Mr. Benjamin Bagley Couston, civil engineer, of Dunedin, who fell from a motor-car into the Waiau River on October 6. Tho coroner said a postmortem examination had revealed that death was not, due to drowning, but to laceration of the brain, which would cause instant death. Deceased was a well-known civil engineer, and his death would be felt by all classes of tho community. The verdict was that death was due to injuries received as the result of a fall from a car.
