ESCAPE FROM PAPARUA.
PRISONER FOR FORGERY. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH. Thursday., A prisoner, Charles Henry Augustus Jones, sentenced to three years' imprisonment in June, 1924, for forgery, escaped from Paparua prison to-day. He has not yet been recaptured, but it was reported to-night that he was seen making toward Riccarton.
