According to a bulletin of the Bureau of Statistics, 77,603 passenger cars were produced in the first half of 1924, while in 1925 the number had risen to 80,209. Motor-trucks manufactured this year numbered 10,605, as compared with 10,102 in the first six months of last yeas.
