ARRIVAL AT MELBOURNE. FEDERAL GOVERNOR-GENERAL. Australian aid N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 10.35 p.m.) MELBOURNE, Oct. 8. The new Governor-General, Lord Stone haven, arrived in Melbourne to-day from Adelaide. His Excellency was enthusiastically welcomed by large crowds while he was en route to the official reception which was tendered to him.
