NEW DAIRY FACTORY. [BY TEI.EGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] TE AWAMUTU, Thursday. Ori the local howling green T. Grant won the final of last season's singles championship, defeating L. G. Armstrong comfortably. H. Burchell defeated Grant in the final for the handicap singles. C. Bowden and 11. Boss defeated .1, Hawkins and C. Bridge in the final for the pairs championship. The provincial directorate of the Te Awamutu Co-operative Dairy Company is Messrs. C. Parker, G. Spinley, E. H. Crawford, A. H. frubshaw, C. M. Alexander, C. S. Mexted, and G. E. Churches. It is understood that finance has been satisfactorily arranged, and the building of the new factory on a site near the railway station will be proceeded with at once. . , There was a very large entry ot cattle at. the weekly stock sale to-day. I rime fat bullocks made up to £24 10s, an increase of over £3 on the best pi ice obtained last week. To day quite a number of bullocks returned in excess of Lio a head.
