NEW RUKUHIA HALL.
AN OFFICIAL OPENING. [By TELEGRAPH. —OWN COURESPON DENT. ] HAMILTON. Thursday. The new Rukuhia Rail was officially opened by Mr. J. A. Young, Yi p., last evening. The old hall was destroyed by fire some months ago, but as a result of the efforts of the settlers and school children, who agreed that the money usually devoted for prizes should go to the hall fund, sufficient funds were raised to enable the new hall to he onened free of debt. In a happy speech Mr. Young complimented the settlers and the child ten on what they had done. An excellent concert followed the opening ceremony.
