Bidwell, of Kingston, Ontario, " in view of the very deeply-stirred state of feeling throughout his diocese created by his wile's change of religious allegiance " has been accepted by the executive committee of the Synod of the Anglican diocese of Ontario. Bishop Bid well had offered to resign after the announcement of his wife's conversion to the Roman Catholic Church.
