ROLLED ON BY HORSE.
A RIDER'S PREDICAMENT. [BY t TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] PTTTABURU. Wednesday. While going to his home at Putarurn for the week-end, Mr. C. Newton, employed on a timber tramway at Te Whetu, met with a painful accident. His horse stumbled and tutned a somersault, landing on the rider's back and rolling on him several times in its effort to regain ts feet. Mr. Newton wtss severely crushed on the chest, and on his arrival home after a painful ride was attended by Dr. HasJett, who osdered quiet for several days.
