Fray, president, and Mr. (L WTneeler, registrar, of the Auckland Justices of the Peace Association, will leave by train this evening to attend the Dominion conference opening in Christchurch next Tuesday. Mr. R. H. Morgan, who Tor the past 12 months has been stationmaster at Marton Junction, has been appointed to Thorndon. He entered the service 34 years ago.
