MURDER AT BATAVIA.
DECEASED'S BOX FOUND. EAR-RINGS IN A WELL. Renter. BATAVIA, Oct. 6. A half-barned trunk which had belonged to Mrs. Campbell Mac Fie, the Sydney woman who was murdered in her bedroom at the Hotel Villa Dolce, Weilevreden, Batavia, has beer! found in an empty house nest to the hotel, with the contents intact. Deceased's missing ear-rings were discovered in a well. Ten hotel boys are being kept under surveillance.
