Tuesday, Mr. Benjamin Bailey Couston, civil engineer, of Dunedin, who was proceeding to Hanmer with his wife for treatment, dropped out of the bus while it was crossing the ferry bridge and fell into the Waiau River, 120 ft. below. The river is in heavy flood and' search is being, made for the body, which was seen floating down stream.
