WEDDING.

A qr.iet wedding was celebrated at the Methodist Church. FeiJding, cn September 29. when Garland Isitt Jones, son of Mrs John Jones, of Wanganui East, was married to Sarah Catherine Macnicol, eldest daughter of Mrs. George Bridge, Fading, and the late Duncan Macnicol, of Auckland. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. A. Mitchell. The church was artistically decorated by Mr. Lvons. The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr. T. A. Bridge, wore a cream panne velvet frock with a side train lined with pale pink georgette, caught in place by a handsome pearl ornament, She wore a cream tulle veil and pearl coronet and carried a - . shower bouquet of pink flowers. Miss Irene* Bridge attended the bride, and wore a very pretty frock of flame panne velvet with gold lace at the side and knot of rainbow net at back, and earned a bouquet to tone. The little flower girl. Jean McAliey, neice of the bride, was in a dainty frilled frock of shell-pink crepe de chine with rosettes on the shoulder, and she carried a posie of forget-me-nots.
