OLD BOYS OF ST. PETER'S.
THiRD ANNUAL REUNION, The third annual reunion of the old boys of St, Peter's Presbyterian Church, Grey Lynn, field in the church hall on Monday evening, was attended by 60 or 70 men. The Rev. T. Haliday presided. | A varied programme of musical items, j stories and reminiscences was given. ! among those taking part being Messrs. I Hrinsden, Bannatyne, Ness, Kenning, 1 Donald, Doull, Lester, Menzies, Ramsay, | Gilmour, Davie, Pearson, Constantine, Carr, M. J. Smith, McLean, Crawford and Carlsen. Camps, conferences, and athletic gatherings of the past were brought to mind, and the memory of those who *gave the r lives in tha great war was honoured. One of the events of the past year which was mentioned was the election of Mr. George Baildon as Mayor. Mr. Baildon had acted as honorary supervisor in I the erection of the hall and class-rooms | about 20 years ago, from which time the I young people's work of the church com- | rnenced to take shape. It was also seated j that more young men who had passed ! through the Bible classes and church j organisations had enlisted for service in j the war than from any church of similar size in the Dominion.
