CATTLE IDENTIFIED.
STOLEN IN DECEMBER. [HY TELEGRAPH. -—OWN COiITUSSPONMNT. ] TE AWAMUTU. Tuesday. To locate some cattle thai, were allegedly stole'.! from a farm ra the Papakura district as far back as last December is an achievement to the credit of the Te A warn uta police. Constable Doyle has been prosecuting inquiries from time to time ever since the cattle were reported missing. So convinced was he that they were on a certain farm at Pukeatua that yesterday with their owner he arrived and made an inspection. Some of the missing cattle were identified. There is no suggestion of wrong doing by the Pukeatua farmer, who porchassd the cattle as store steers at public auction in the Te Awamutu saleyards in December. \
