LIBRARIES CONFERENCE.
PROPOSED DUNEDIN MEETING. Another Dominion conference likely to bo held in Dunedin during the currency of the exhibition is one of those concerned in the control of libraries. The Dunedin City Council's Library Committee is asking authority to take the necessary steps for calling such a conference of representatives of library authorities in January, 1926, find that permission be granted to expend a sum not exceeding £25 in connection with the conference. Similar conferences were held prior to the war and proved of considerable value to those engaged in public library administration.
