DESERTING SEAMEN.
FURTHER ARRESTS MADE. [BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TAURANGA. Monday During the time the Norwegian steamer Henrik Ibsen was in port a number of seamen deserted from the ship. Three of these were arrested and dealt with prior to the departure of the steamer, yesterday Constable Daly arrested a man in the Te Puke district, while Constables Clifford and Davi.es arrested another man at Papamoa. Both these seamen were brought before the Court at Tauranga to-day and charged with deserting the vessel. They were remanded.
