LAWN TENNIS.
TAKAPIfNA CLUB. The following officers wetfo elected at the annual meeting of the Takaptina Tennis Club:—President, Mr. J. F. Colegrove; secretary, Mr, G. Whitbrearl; treasurer, Mr. A. G. Davis; committee, Messrs. D. R. C. Mowbray, A. W. Claris, H. Evarton, J. A. Bartrutn. The report stated thai. .last season was prosperous for the club although there was a slight decrease in membership. "The courts were expected to be in improved condition and with the present progress of Takapuna the outlook for the club was distinctly promising.
