TRAINING OF OFFICERS.
CAMBERLEY NOMINATIONS.
[FROM OCR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] LONDON. Aug. 26. It is officially announced that a number of officers have been nominated xor admission to the Staff College, Camberley, and will joir. tho college in January next. These indude: Captain E. G. Stevens, Royal New Zealand Artillery; Captain and Brevet Major E. L. Vowlcs, M.C., and Captain L. F. Coldwell-Smith, Aus-, tralian Staff Corps; Major K. Stuart, D.5.0., M.C., Royal Canadian Engineers; Captain E. C Burness, M.C., Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry; and Captain L. Beyers, South African Staff Corps. It will be noted with interest that New Zealand is keeping in line with other overseas permanent forces. Major R. Miles, D.5.0., M.C., Royal New Zealand Artillery, will complete his two years' at the Staff College, Camberley, at the end of this year, and Captain Stevens will bo taking his place. Captain G. B. Parkinson, R.N.Z.A.. Wellington, has arrived to take an 18 months' gunnery course at Woolwich.
