TUNNEL CAVES IN.
ACCIDENT IN VIRGINIA. MEN STILL ENTRAPPED. Router. NEW YORK Oct. 2. A cave-in occurred in a railway tunnel under Jefferson Park, Richmond, Virginia, on Friday afternoon. A work train containing over 40 men was trapped in the tunnel. Many of the men crawled out to safety aud were taken to hospital to have their injuries dressed. The railway officials on Friday evening said it was not believed that more than eight men then remained in the tunnel.
