DOINGS IN MELBOURNE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 7.5 p.m.) MELBOURNE. Oct. 4. The delegates to the Empire Press Union Conference spent Saturday on a trip to the I>andenong Ranges. They were the guests at a dinner given by the Newspaper Proprietors' Association in the evening.
