CEREAL CROPS.
The world's cereal crop prospects appear decidedly satisfactory, for the International Institute of Agriculture predicts Increases in wheat, rye, barley and maize trops,'and a redaction only in oats. With fegard to wheat production in the northern lemisphcra, the forecast for 21 countries, including Canada, the United States, 12 European countries, four Asiatic and throe Horth African countries, estimates the field for 1925 at 1,268,000,000 centals, eom- .■ fared with 1,241,000.000 last year. The institute points out that these statistics lepresent only 70 per cent, of the aggregate production in the northern he mismere t but it may safely be aiitieipated feat when the statistics ar® completed, bey will show a considerably greater increase over 1524 than the present figures fcdicate,
