FANCY-DRESS SOCIAL.
The Wesley Hockey Club, winners of the Phillpotts Cup, held a plain and fancy dress social in tlie Collegiate Church Hall. Grafton Road, on Saturday evening- The hall was art stically decorated and the lighting effeita were well carried out. There were many varied costumes, which made a splendid ishow-
f>rize-winners were Miss Hosking {"Cross-word Puzile), Miss Wilson ("Brown Paper Bag") and Mr. A. Burton ("Parisian Artist"). Among the artists who contributed items during the evening were Messrs, A. McElwaia ami P. Bellow.
