HOCKEY COMPETITIONS.
JUNIOR GRADE MATCHES. RESULTS OF SATURDAY'S GAMES. Matches in the Auckland Hockey Association's junior grades were played at Reti.u'sra on Saturday. Training College had an easy win in the second grade Challenge Cup semi-final, but the fourth grade game between St. Paul's and Wai tenia ta was very close, St, Paul's only winning by a penalty corner, after 45 minutes of extra play. The Auckland referees were beaten by Grammar by 3 to 1, Following are the results:— SECOND GRADE. Training College, 9, beat Si. Luke's, 0„ FOURTH GRADE. St. Paul's, 2 goals (Mickel) and a penalty corner, beat Waitemata, 2 (Hamilton and Sapsworth).
