THE WANDERING PRINCE.

NOW IN CONSTANTINOPLE,

A. and N.Z. CONSTANTINOPLE. Sept. 15. It is reported that Prince Ahmed Seifeddin has arrived here.

A cablegram published on September 4 stated that as a result of the publication of a photograph a number of passengers going across the Channel to Boulogne from Hastings declare that they saw a man aboard resembling Prince Ahmed Seifeddin, brother-in-law of King Fuad .of Egypt, who was reported to have disappeared mysteriously while at Hastings in charge of two mental hospital attendants. It was stated by the Daily Chronicle "that. Prince Ahmed's disappearance was the outcome of an elaborate plot, the successful, accomplishment of which was due to many months' organisation. The plot, it is believed, was engineered by an English professional man with a*strong taste for adventure, who acted as an intermediary between the Prince and his mother. It was stated that the Prince's relatives were* prepared to -spend a fortune, if necessary, in securing his release from the mental hospital at Ticehurst, Sussex, of which he had been 1 an inmate for 23 years. Fabulous sums had been mentioned as a reward. A cablegram published last Tuesday stated that the Prince had been staying for soma days at. a hotel in a suburb of Paris, but that he left in a motor-car last Sunday night: after enjoining the manager of the, hotel to maintain secrecy.
