THE BIBLE IN SCHOOLS.
Sir,—l have read with ( interest- th« correspondence on this subject, and have some to the conclusion that the Bible cansot be taught in our schools without giving rise to sectarianism. May I ask Mr. Burton what explanation he, as a teacher, would offer to a class of pupils concerning the texts in Matt, xxvi, 26-29, and John vi, 53-60. lam not inviting a controversy on the subject of the Rekl Presence, but atn merely seeking enlightenment as to the feasibility of Bibleteaching m our secular schools. Investigator.
