SIR EDWIN MITCHELSON.
BEAUTIFIER OF ELLERSLIE.
SERVICES TO BE RECOGNISED. At the annual meeting of members of the Auckland Racing Club last month mention was made of the great part played by the president, Sir Edwin Mitchelson, in the beautifying of the EUerslio racecourse, and the opinion was expressed that action should be taken to mark his services in a permanent and fitting manner. The committee of the club has considered the proposal, and although matters have not yet assumed definite shape it is understood the committee is in fall accord with tho view that the recognition of Sir Edwin Mitchelson's services should take a permanent form.
