WINE MANAGERS' REPORTS.
Zeehan.—Tho contractors have advanced the north drivo 15ft. The roof still maintains its good values and is 4ft. wide. The country rock of tho hanging wall i 3 now dry and much harder. •_ Four-in-Hand. —The rise to connect from the intermediate with No. 4 level has advanced 7ft.. a total distance of 10ft. A fine channel of country is being penetrated, the footwall portion of the lode being fully 6iji. wide and the hanging wall portion approximately 2in. At the low levol, the crosscut has advanced 7ft., a total distance of 86ft. , . Oninemuri. —The southern extension of tb.e low level was advanced 18ft., which brings it to a point corresponding with the north face at No. 2 level. The distance from the Silverstream crosscut is 1522 ft. The drive will bo continued a short distance, when a crosscut will be projected to prove the width and value of the lode. The country re cently penetrated is interlaced with quartz veins, some of which are carrying values. Majestic.—The north face on the Maratoto reef was extended sft., making a total of 221 ft. from the main crosscut. A croescut to the hanging wall disclosed 6ft. of quartz, showing streaks of sulphide. This work has been discontinued temporarily to permit of the concentration of all labour on the extension of the low level southward to the United section, which ia the main objective. The south face has been extended 7ft., making a total distance of 834 ft. from the'main crosscut. The last round of holes exposed the reef on the hangingwall. The face is now much Softer, and a deoided improvement in the appearance of the reef has taken place.
