HOTEL PORTER'S THEFTS.
COMMITTAL AT PALMERSTON. [BY TELEGRAPH. —MESS ASSOCIATION.] PALwJERSTON NORTH. Wednesday. In the Police Court William Henry Gibbons, alias Reed, an hotel porter, pleaded guilty to the theft of a handbag, ten sovereigns, five £1 notes, two 10s notes and two diamond ear-rings, of the total value of £74. Accused was committed to the Supreme Court at Wellington for Sentence.
