The Tauranga Domain Board has decided t 0 invite the public to subscribe to a fund for the purchase of children's swings and other amusement- appliances to be set up in the domain. The Hockey Association held a sports and Cup competition this afternoon in fine weather. In the Kent Cup for men's teams True Blues defeated Kiwis. True Blues then met and beat Rovers in tho final. In the Jordan Cup, for schoolboys, Q.P.'s, defeated Colts. The running events resulted7syds. Handicap, H. Cambie, 1: C. Cambie, 2; D. Mountfort, 3; 120 yds (handicap, G. Hynds, 1; D Mountfort, 2; G. Alley, 3; relay race, Colts, 1; Q.P's., 2; 220 yds handicap, J. Findlay, 1; R. Gray, 2; G. Alley, 3. A sevon-aside ladies' tournament was held for the Associatipn's Buttons. Hinernoas beat Aretas and Girl Guides beat Maroros. The final was won by Girl Guides against Hinemoas. An executive race resulted: Miss M. Wright, 1; Miss F. Kennedy, 2; J. A. Jordan, 3.
