PRESENTATION.
A representative gathering assembled at Te Kuiti to make a presentation to Dr. M. M. Mcßae, who for 14 years has been a prominent member of the medical piofession in the district, and having disposed of his practice is leaving to settle in Wellington. The Mayor. Mr. H. Rot fiery, in handing Dr, and Mrs. Mcßaa a solid silver tea and coffee service, sui * ably inscribed, referred to the esteem and affection the doctor's unselfish work through the strenuous pioneering P ol "]** 1 of the district had won him and the deep regret his many friends m town and country felt at his departure. Mr. J. C. Rolleston, M.P., referred to the doctor's service at the war, where he had won the military cross. Mr. Rolleston added that Dr. Mcßae had been tooMd on as a true friend by everyone from the Marokopa River to the Mokau. the Druids' Lodge presented Dr. Mcßae with a complete smoker s outfit, and Mrs- Mc Rae with a clock. Dr. Mcßae was entertained bv the Te Kuitr Returned Solditfi Association and presented with ft iwiTar pocket flask.
