He has sailed in almost every type of craft. He has a ranch in California and during lulls in his wandering life lives among his orange groves. TO-MORROW NIGHT'S BALL. VICTORIA AND NAVY LEAGUES Arrangements are well forward for the ball under the auspices of the Victoria' and Navy Leagues to be tendered to the officers at the Town Hall to-morrow evening. It is expected that about 250 officers will be present, as they are the ■ guests'of honour. So far, more than 700 tickets have been sold, although it is not I expected that a crush will be experienced .as was the cast last year. Aitention is drawn to the desirability of obtaining tickets of admission as early as possible to-day, more particularly as the number of tickets to be issued is to be limited.
