YOUNG CITIZENS' LEAGUE.
SUPPORT OF HEADMASTERS. ■At the invitation of tho Auckland Headmasters' Association Messrs. E. C. Cutten and J. W. Poynton, S.M.'s, C. M. Carter and H. Stebbing, representing the executive of the Young Citizens' League, addressed a largo gathering of headmasters at the Institute rooms last Friday evening oh matters relating to the welfare of the younger generation in the community. Mr. Matthews, president of the association, was in tho chair. , Each of the speakers received a most attentive and sympathetic hearing. A resolution, recording appreciation of the services of the league and of the good influenco of its paper, the Young Citizen, was unanimously passed.
