The Kaituna, with cargo from Adelaide ■nd Melbourne, was to leave Wellington at noon on Saturday for New Plymouth and 'Auckland. She is now due Jiei'o about Thursday morniag. The Poolta wa3 delayed on Saturday night owing to a shortage in her crow. The vacancies were filled yesterday morning when tlio vessel was despatched for Hokianga, Greymouth and Westport to load a cargo of timber for Sydney. The Awahou arrived from East Coast bays yesterday morning and. berthed at the Princes Wharf. Last night the vessel sailed for Portland to load cement. The vessel returns to Auckland to-'night. when sho will berth at tho Prince's Wharf to complete loading and to-morrow night she will be despatched for Tokomaru Bay, lolaga Bay and Gisbome. HARTFIELD FROM TF (AS. An arrival in port yestord ■ was the steamer Hartfield from Galv jn. Texas. Tho vessel has a cargo of (!1< ions of sulphur for discharge at Auckl? d. New Plymouth, Newcastle, Adelaide id Wallaroo. Sho berthed at the King's W. t arf to unload 1100 tons for this port. The vessel sailed from Galveston on July 1. Sho arrived at Colon on July 8 and cleared Balboa the following day. Fine weather prevailed on the voyago until the Hartfield was three days from Auckland, when sh& encountered strong westorly gales and rough head soas. The vessel wa3 considerably buffeted by tho storm and her decks were repeatedly flooded fore and aft. but no damage was done. The Hartfield is owned by tho Woodfiold Steam Ship Company of London, and sho is under charter to Messrs. Andrew Weir and Company. Her crew number 38 all told, Captain R. Hughes. The Canadian Government steamer Canadian Miller arrived last evening from Vancouver, via Australia, and berthed at the Prlivce's Wharf to discharge GOO,oooft. of timber and 100 tons of gonoral cargo. The vessel loaded at New Westminster, Victoria and Vancouver, She discharged at Sydney and Melbourne and then loaded wool and other cargo at Melbourne, Geelong and Sydney. From Sydney tho vc-scel went to Port Kombla for bunkers and left there at 8 p.m. on Monday last for Auckland. The Union Company's Island steamer Flora arrived at Rarotonga from Auckland at 0.30 a.m. or. Wednesday. She will load a cargo of fruit at Enstern Pacific island ports for Wellington and Auckland to bo discharged in that order. CARGO FROM LIVERPOOL. The Commonwealth and Dominion Lino advise that one of their steamers is to leave Liverpool on October 10 tor Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She will bring cargo from Glasgow and Liverpool, TAHITI AT SAN FRANCISCO. The .Royal Mail steamer Tahiti arrived at San Francisco on Friday from Wellington. On her return voyage tho vessel leaves San Francisco on Wednesday and she is duo back at Wellington on August 31. REPORT FROM TEKOA. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Tekoa, which lett Wellington on August 2 for London, sent a wireless message on Wednesday evening reporting having encountered strong easterly galea and high seas, but the weather was moderating. The message added " all well." KAIWARRA FROM FIJI. The Kaiwarra is expected to clear Suva to-morrow or Wednesday for Auckland where she will arrive about Sunday. The vessul has raw sugar from Fiji for Auckland and a quantity of Newcastle coal for discharge at Napier. k ATHOLL FROM BUNBURY. The 1 Atholl is duo to-day with 2,000.000 ft. of Australian hardwood from Bunbury. She will discharge a Quantity nt the King's Wharf ancl tho remainder at Southern ports. Messrs. Robert Miller and Company are tho local agents. TOFUA DUE EARLY TO-DAY. The Union Company's Island Bteamor Tofua is due at 5.30 a.m. to-day with pasBongers, mails end cargo from Tonga. Samoa and Fiji. After medical inspection sho will berth about 8 a.m. at the Central Wharf. WAITEMATA DUE THIS AFTERNOON. A wireless message from the Waitemata states that sho will arrive from Nowcastlo this afternoon. Sho will berth at tbo Kine's Whirl to discharge her cargo of coal. The vessel is also bringing 21 bags of Australian mail for Auckland. WAIMANA'S PROGRAMME. After completing discharge of Liverpool cargo and loading for America and England at Bluff, the Sbaw, Savill and Albion Company's steamer Waimana leaves to-day for loading at Lyttelton, Wellington. Napier, Waikokopu, Gisborne and Auckland. She is expected to clear Auckland finally on September 4 for London, via New York and Boston. PENMORVAH FROM SEYCHELLES IS. Tho New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the steamer Penmorvah cannot leave Lyttelton before to-morrow for Auckland where sho is expected about the end of this week. The vessel will complete discharge of her cargo of guana from Seychelles Islands at this port. TUTANEKAI FOR NORTH. The Government steamer Tutanekai left Wellington on Friday night for East Const lighthouses and Auckland. If tho weather is favourable for attending the lighthouses and beacons en routo Captain Bollono expects that the vessel will reach Auckland about Saturday. At this port ahe will load stores for Northern and West Coast lighthouses.

The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Turakina is due at noon today from London. The vessel will anchor of! CARGO FROM NEW YORK. The next C. and D. liner to leave New York for New Zealand is tho Port Hacking, which is to sail on September 2 with cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton, Dunodin and Bluff. Tho vessel is due at Auckland on October 6. The Port Hacking will be followed by tho Port Pirie, which is to sail from New York on October 14 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. REMUERA IN PORT. Having completed loading operations on the East Coast earlier than was expected the Now Zealand Shipping Company's liner Remuera left Tokomaru Bay on Batday night for Auckland. This morning the vessol will berth at the Queen's Wharf to complete her cargo for Liverpool and London. With passengers and mails she is to be despatched for those ports on Saturday.
