SNOWS OF CANDA.
LOOKING TO NEW ZEALAND. "This part of Canada being in the snow belt, the winter is cold and very trying. . . . Business is very depressed all over Canada, with no signs of improving." These remarks are made in a letter just received by Inspector A. S. Bird, of the Invercargill police district, from the Sheriff of Bevelstoke, British Columbia. Tho writer asks for information about the prospects offering in Southland for his son, who is desirous of settling in New Zealand
