She will discharge her cargo of coal at tie King's Wharf. The Wainui arrived from East Coast ports last night and berthed at the Prince's Wharf. She will sail at 5 p.m. to-morrow for Tokomaru Bay, Tolaga Bay and Gisborno. The Matangi, nftor an extensive overhaul, will resume running in tha Tauranga service to-day. The Ngapuhi, wnioh has been relieving the Matangi, will be withdrawn. The Ksmona left Picfon at midnight on Friday with produce for Auckland. She is duo to-day and will berth at the Queen's Wharf. After discharge ehe will load cement at Portland for Wellington. The Poolta was unable fo leave Greymouth on Friday night, but sha was expected to sail at 6 a.m. on Saturday for Auckland direct. The vessel is duo to-night or tomorrow morning and she will discharge at the King's Wharf _The Wanaka left Oamani at 9 p.m. on Thursday for Lyttelton to complete loading for Napier, Giaborno and Auckland. The vessel i 3 expected to clear Wellington to-day and she is due at Auckland about Friday. The Kaimarawa arrived from Westport, on Saturday morning and berthed at the King's Wharf. After discharge of her cargo of coal she will return to Westport to load again for Auckland. With cargo from South Island ports and Wellington, the Wingatui which left New Plymouth at 5 p.m. on Friday arrived at Auckland last night. The vessel berthed at the Prince's Wharf and after discharge will load for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Tioiaru. NIAGARA SAILS TO-MORROW. A departure from Auckland to-morrow will be the Royal Mail steamer Niagara lor Suva, Honolulu and Vancouver. She is scheduled to sail at 11 a.m. The vessel is berthed at the Queen's Wharf and will commence loading to-day. . EAST COAST SERVICE. The Richardson Lino steamer Awahou arrived at Gisborne yesterday morning and will lecve this evening for Auckland. She is duo to-morrow. The Mako completes her overhaul on Wednesday, and will be commissioned in the East Coast bays and Napier trade on Thursday. 1 MAKURA DUE AT WELLINGTON. The Royal Mail steamer Makura is due at Wellington this mornins with passengers, mails and cargo from San Francisco. Papeete and Rarotonea. The vessel will not continue her voyage to Sydney as she is being withdrawn from the sorvice for the winter months. Hqr passengers, mails and cargo for Sydney will bo transhipped to the Maunganui. which leaves Wellington °n Thursday for Sydney. The Maunganui will also relievo the Makura in the transpacific mail service. She is to'leavo Sydney for San Francisco, via Wellington and Island ports, on August 13. MAUNGANUI FROM SYDNEY. The only inter-colonial passenger steamer from Sydney thia week will be the Maunganui. She is duo at Wellington from Sydney early this morning. Passengers and mails for Auckland will reach hero bv train tomorrow* morning. On Thursday the Maunganui will leave on her return trip and on arrival at Sydney will be withdrawn to relievo the Makura in the Psciiio mail service. The Maheno, now being reoommisBioned at Port Chalmers, will replace (ho in tho intercolonial service. THE STEAMER TUGELA. Tho Norwegian steamer Tugela was to lea ve Wellington on Saturday for Lvttolton, Napier ar.d Auckland to completo discharge q£ her cargo from Oslo. Rotterdam. Imirungton and Antwerp. The vessel cleared Antwerp on May 29 and called at Durban, en route to New Plymouth, her first New Zealand port of discharge. Fine weather was experienced on tho voyago. The Tugela is a steel singlo scroT' steamer of 5559 tons and was built in 1921 by Messrs. Palmer and Company, Ltd. Newcastle-on-Tyne. She is fitted with triple expansion engines of 25<X) horse power and her furnaces are adapted for burning oil or coal fuel. Her crew are all Norwegians. Captain N. Olsen is in command. From Auokland the Tugela will go to Tonga to bad copra and then to Australia to load wool for Europe. ROMEO ARRIVED. * An arrival Auckland yesterday aftermoon was the Ellerman-Hall Line steamer Romeo from Now York. A smart voyago for a cargo steamer was mado from the American port at an average speed of 11 knots, the run from Panama being covered in 25 days. The Romeo visited New Zealand and Austria about two years ago and afterwards traded for some time in tho East Indieß. On her present voyage she left Leith in ballast for Now York, whero a full cargo of case oil and general merchandise was loaded. Leaving New York on June 27 bunkers were replenished at Newport News and the Romeo resumed her voyage on Juno 30. Colon wa.B reached ana Balboa was cleared on . The three-masted schooner Louis Theriault arrived at Whangaroa from Kopu on Friday to load timber for Sydney. KUROW LEAVES NEWCASTLE. The Kurow sailed from Newcastle at 1,30 p.m. on Friday with coal for Auckland She is due about Thursday. THE WHANGAPE. The Whangape is expected to completo diacharge of hor coal cargo at tho King's Wharf thia morning. At noon she will sail for Newcastle. SUGAR FROM FIJI. The Kaikorai sailed from Laucala Bay, Fiji, at 4 p.m. on Friday with raw sugar for Auckland. She is due on Wednesday. THE HAURAKI. The Union Company's motor-ship Hauraki left Auckland on Saturday evening for Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney in continuation of her voyago from Pacific Coast ports. HERTFORD CLEARED COLON. The Federal Line steamer Hertford cleared Colon ou Saturday in continuation of hor voyage from Auckland to Glasgow. West of England ports and London. The vessel sailed from Auckland on July 9. THE RIMUTAKA. Tho New Zealand Shipping Company's steajner Rw.uitaka left Wellington on Friday for Lyttelton and Dunedin to completo discharge of her Liverpool cargo. PIAKO AT GLASGOW, The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Piako, which was despatched from Auckland on June 13 for New York, Boston, Glasgow and West of England ports, arrived at Glasgow on Friday, , MOTOR-SHIP PORT DUNEDIN. The Commonwealth and Dominion Lino's new motor-ship Port Dunedin will arrive at Dunedin from London this morning, according to a wireless message from tho vessel. Owing to tho labour trouble at Wanganui tho New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Ruapehu was unable to load any cargo. Tho vessel is now loading at Wellington. and she will leave to-morrow afternoon for Napier, Gisborne and Auckland to complete loading. On August 12 she is to sail from Auckland with passengers for New York. Boston and West of England ports. CANADIAN CHALLENGER LOADING. The Canadian Government steamer Canadian Challenger arrived yesterday morning from Wellington and berthed at tho Queen's Wharf to complete loading for America and Canada. Sho will be despatched at 5 p.m. to-day for New York, Boston aud Montreal. THE REMUERA. Tho New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Remusra was to leave Wellington on Saturday afternoon for Gisborne, Tokomaru Bay and Auckland to complete loading for Liverpool and London. The vessel is due at this port about August 13 and will be despatched two days later with passengers and mails for Liverpool. THE ARAWA. Tho Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Arawa sailed on Saturday morning for Wellington to complete discharge of her cargo from London. Afterwards the vessel will load at Port Chalmers, Timaru, Lyttelion and Wellington. With passengerc and mails she will be despatched finally from Wellington on August 28 fc-r Southampton and London, via Panama. WAIWERA LOADING. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Line steamer Waiwera arrived from Waikokpu shortly before mid-day on Saturday and berthed at tho Central Wharf to continue loading for London. The vessel is expected to sail to-morrow for Gisborne to complete. She will be despatched from Gisborne for London on August 11. THE DORSET. The Federal Line steamer Dorset sailed at mid-day on Saturday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth to complete dischargo of her cargo from West of England ports. Subseauently tho vessel will load at Wanganui, Bluff, Lyttelton. Wellington, Napier and Gisborne. She will return to Auckland about the middle of September to complete and will take. hor departure from this port for Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester and Avoumouth. FLEET WEEK ARRANGEMENTS. In order to give coastal residents full opportunities for visiting the American fleet, the Northern Company in altering the time tables of the Manaia and Matangi while the fleet is in Auckland. Commencing at the end of this week, the Manaia and Matangi will leave Auckland on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays for Whangarei and Tauranga respectively, instead of on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Excursionists from Northern ports will also be catered for and tho Clansman will make a special trip for the occasion. Sho will leave Auckland next Sunday night for Mangonui and will leave Mangonui at 1 p.m. next day for Whangaroa, Russell, Opua and Auckland, reaching this port at 7 a.m. on Tuesday..
