WEDDINGS.

A very pretty wedding was solemnised at the Methodist Church, Northern Wairoa, last week, when Iris Cynthia (Yvonne), youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. C. French, Dargaville, was married to Mr. E. W. Edwards, late of Wimbledon, London. Tho Rov. Watson officiated. Tho bride wore a frock of ivory panne velvet, trimmed with georgette panels, and white Swansdown, with tulle veil and a coronet of autumn-tinted leaves and orange blossom. She carried a handsomo bouquet of alliums and camllias, with a touch of pink tea-tree. She also wore a handsome diamond pendant set in platinum, tho gift of the bridegroom's mother. She was attonded by her cousin, Miss Rhona Brown, of Northcote, in a frock of pink georgette over brocaded satin, with blue feather trimming and a silver coronet draped with pink tulle. She carried a bouquet of violets and maidenhair fern. The bride was also attended by her little niece and nephew, Joyce Woods, in blue crepe do chine trinyned with pink Swansdown and rosebud trimming, and Graham Robson, dressed in a suit df black velvet and white silk shirt. Each carried dainty baskets filled with rose petals. Mr. H. Prothero acted aft best man. .
