MATCH AT CARL AW PARK. A match between a team chosen from the players selected to represent New Zealand" in Australia and an Auckland thirteen will be played at Carlaw 1 ark to-morrow afternoon. This decision was reached bv the New Zealand League Council yesterdav. Followers of the code will no 'doubt welcome the opportunity of seeing the New Zealand representatives in action. The following team has been chosen by the selectors, Messrs. Fox, McDonald and Asher, to represent Auckland: — Fullback: Herewini (Ponsonby). • Thrccquarters: Littlewood (Ponsonby), Gardiner (Ponsonby), Malloy (Marists). Five-eighths: Cole (Ponsonby), Hargreaves (Newton), Halfback: Peckham (Ponsonby). Forwards. Singe (Marist), St. George (North Shore), Payne (Ponsonby), McDonald (City), Douglas (North Shore), Bass (City). Reserves.—Backs: Poison (Newton), Crewther (City), List (Kingsland). Forwards. O'Brien (North Shore), Hawkes (City). Townsend and Davidson, who were injured on Saturday, were not considered for inclusion. Tho team is to meet at the Tepid Baths to-morrow at 2 p.m. Players not available are requested to notify Mr. E. Asher immediately.
