Mr. V. Flood Nagle, of Albury,. New South Wales, who has been on a short tour of the North Island, was a passenger on the Niagara for Vancouver yesterday. Major F. H. Bowater, managing-direc-tor of Bowaters* Paper Mills, Ltd., London, who has been touring the North Island, left by the Niagara yesterday for Vancouver on his way back to London, He was accompanied by Mrs. Bowater and Miss. Bowater. .Dr. T. H. A. Valiatine, Director-General, of Health in New Zealand, '■ arrived in' London a week ago, says a' Press Association cablegram. He has consulted Sir Georgo Buchanan at the Ministry of Health and has visited some of the. hospitals. He was to proceed to Geneva yesterday to confer with the Health Department of tho League of Nations.
