OVERSEAS MAILS.

INCOMING. The Waihora is due at Auckland to-day from Newcastle, with 30 bag 3of mail from Australia and beyond. The Royal Mail steamer Maker a is due at Wellington from San Francisco on June 8 with English and American mail for iNew Zealand. The Moeraki is due at Auckland from Sydney to-morrow with Australian mail for New Zealand. OUTGOING. Outgoing mails for overseas ports close at Auckland as under:— Fiuda.7. Australian States. Ceylon, India, _ China, Japan, Straits Settlements, ana South Africa, per Moeraki, at 9 a.m. June 9. Great Britain, Ireland, Canada, Uni'sed States of America, Mexico, West Indies; also Fiji, [Hawaiian Islands Mid Japan, per R.M.S. Niagara, at 10 a.m. Mails duo at London about July S. Wednesday, King's _ Birthday, will be observed as a close holiday by the postal department. Mails usually despatched on Wednesdays before 7.15 a.m. will close at 4 a.m., those after 7.15 a.m. at the ls.tter hour. The Main Trunk mails, however, will close at 5 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. Late fee letters for Southern offices of New Zealand may be posted in the letter box at the entrance to the station platform up to 7 p.m. and 7.35 p.m. as usual. To-mcrrow evening a delivery of all correspondence, including registered, will be made over the postman's counter on the first floor at the Chief Post Office between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m..
