QUALITY OF WOOL CLIPS. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Saturday. The Royal Agricultural Society conference carried a Masterton remit askiifg the Department of Agriculture to extend the work of educating farmers in wool quality, with a view to improving the Dominion clip. A Methven remit: "That the dehorning of grade cattle be made compulsory," was carried by 10 votes to 9. Matters relating to the encouragement of Agricultural College graduates to take up land and the elimination of scrub bulls were referred to the department.
