GERMAN STAINED GLASS.
MEMORIAL WINDOWS. PROTEST AGAINST IMPORTATION. There was an echo at a meeting of tho Canterbury Industrial Association of the Australian protest against the importation of German stained glass for memorial windows. After condemning the practice, Mr. W. J. Jenkin, who presided, said that, although he did not think the same occurrence would happen in New Zealand, he would move that the meeting arge that those interested in the matter have their attention drawn to the claims of New Zealand products. The motion was carried unanimously.
