RUN OVER BY A CAR.
■ -o ACCIDENT AT NG ARUAWAH lA. TAXI-DRIVER PROSECUTED. [BY telegraph.—own correspondent,] NOAItUAW AHI A, Friday. In tho Magistrate's Court, a taxi-driv.er, G. Wood, was charged with a breach of the traffic regulations. It was stated by the police that ho drove to tho stand at the railway station on the wrong side of tho road, knocking down and running over a man named O'Neil. The man fortunately fell between the wheels and was unhurt. The Bench imposed a fine of £2 and costs. As Wood had a vjfe and family to support, his driving license was not cancelled.
