IMPERIAL AIRSHIPS.
MOST PROFITABLE ROUTE. AUSTRALIA AND DOMINION. LONDON. May IG. Commander Barney, M.P., told tho Transport Instituto that from Britain to Australia and New Zealand would bo tho most profitable Imperial air route, but tho airships must attract a considerable portion oi the total traffic before they would pay. They would be likely to lose £1,000,000 in tho first year. The main difficulty, he added, was in providing a subsidy of £500,000 over a period of years.
