WIRELESS IN ENGLAND.
PROPOSED REGULATIONS. CABINET WITHDRAWS BILL. Australian nnd N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5.5 p.m.) LONDON. May 2G. The Cabinet has withdrawn the Wireless Bill and has decided to institute a J full inquiry into broadcasting. The bill provided that anyone establishing or maintaining a wireless telegraph station without a license would be liable to 12 months' imprisonment or a fine not exceeding £IOO on being eonvictcd on an indictment j or to imprisonment not oxceeding three months or a fiiio not exceeding £SO on a summary conviction.
