Vincent la.it evening:— An early change in tho weather ia indicated, conditions becoming cloudy to overcast with heavy rain following over most of tho Dominion. A very energetic arid extensive disturbance of combined tropical and Antarctic influence, is advancing from the west. Stormy weather conditions are likely generally. Northerly to north-easterly winds, freshening, and increasing strong io a gale. Heavy seas shortly on east coast and northward from Whangarei. Barometer, midnight, 30.30 ii).; steady. GOVERNMENT REPORT. Tho Government meteorologist reported last evening as follows: "Present indications are for moderate to strong southerly and easterly winds prevailing and freshening, weather fair to cloudy generally, but cold arid changeable in districts with an easterly aspect, an unfavourable change following.
