STOPS AT ORATI A.
A letter from a correspondent at Oratia was published yesterday complaining of inattention on (ho part of the Railways Department to requests for trains to stop at Oratia. As a matter of fact the stops the correspondent was urging were made yesterday, and there was no delay on the part of the railway officials, the petition from Oratia being re ceived on April 9, and some days ago tho petitioners were advised that the stops would be made this week. The petition urged that six trains should stop at Oratia and verbal requests wero made that two additional trains should stop. The department decided to stop the eight trains.
