FRENCH FORCE IN ACTION. ENEMY'S HEAVY LOSSES. LEADER COERCING TRIBESMEN. By Talegraph—Press Association—Copyrght. (Received 9.5 p.m.) Renter. PARIS. May 24. A message from Rabat, Morocco, states that the Riffs aro continuing their concentration. Their leader, Abd el Krim, has introduced a reign of terror among the tribes who are showing slackness. A French column, after having relieved the Upper Wergha posts, hotly engaged a force of SCOO Riffs, whom they drove off. The enemy's losses were heavy. A communiquo issued after a meeting between the Promier. M. I'ainleve, and M. Malvy, who was sent as an envoy to the Spanish authorities, states that the latter formed important friendly relations with Spain. He brought back very interesting information regarding FrancoSpanish relations. The Cabinet will consider M. Malvy's report on Tuesday. 11
