A SUCCESSFUL SALE. GOOD PRICES REALISED. 1 [by TELEGRAPH. —OWN COIIItESI'ONDENT. ] HAMILTON. Monday. A highly successful sale of pedigree Jerseys was conducted by Messrs. Wright. Stephenson and Company on behalf of Mr. C. J. Saxby, of Hamilton, to-day. Buyers were present from all over New Zealand and bidding was brisk throughout. The cattle wore in excellent condition and the 46 females and eleven bulls offered were disposed of under the hammer, Tho stock realised £52,19, an average of £94 a head. The best price was .390 guineas, paid by Mr. P. .Rushton, of Tatuanui, for Tvvylisli Daisy. Other females sold were Alfalfa Sweet Heather. 3-15 guineas, Mr. A. B, MeKinney, Warkworth; Twylish Darky, 300 guineas, Mr. C. S. Leggett, Motumaoho; Alfalfa Supremacy, 215 guineas, Mr. A. A. Wagstaff, Waihou; and Waipiko Penelope, Mrs. G. M. Harris, Wliarepoa. A six months bull calf was sold to Mr. L. A. Diet ley, Hbkitika, for 105 guinoas.
