SCOPE OF BILL OF SALE.
SUPREME COURT ACTION. A motion for an injunction was argued before Sir. Justice Herdman in the Supremo Court yesterday. Frod'T, Eyre, of Auckland (Mr. Indor), prayed that Georgo M.cCullough, of Ruarangi, farmer, should bo restrained from seising or selling certain stationery stock, over which a bill of sale had been given to him by Fred T. Steele, of Whangarni, who had since, for tho benefit of his creditors, assigned his estate to plaintiff. The case turned directly upon the question of the sufficiency, under .the Chattels Transfer Act, of tho description given in tho bill of sale of the goods which came under it, seeing that it was in tho main a mere list of miscellaneous articles of stock, which could not bo distinguished from other articles of the same kind. His Honor reserved judgment.
